A Brief Overview of Sudan
The North is primarily Arab Muslims while the south is largely black African. There is strong discontent between the two groups and the southern groups have united based on their common dislike for the northern Arabs.
The day usually begins with a cup of tea and Millet is a staple food of the country. Cooking is done in courtyards outside the house on a tin grill called a kanoon.
